Hotel elegance with the tradition of salt production

Grand Hotel Portorož is located both in city centre and a few steps from the sea. It is characterized by its renovated rooms that combine elegance with the tradition of salt production and the history of the city of Piran. Accessible parking	There is one disabled parking spot on the street next to the hotel.
Accessible entrance	There is a small ramp that helps to enter the hotel. The reception is accessible. People with disabilities can enter the swimming pool area from the outside. It is accessible via a ramp.
Accessible rooms	The hotel offers their guests with physical disabilities one wheelchair accessible double room. It is distinguished from other rooms by having wider doors that open outwards. The wardrobe is specially adapted for people in wheelchairs.
Accessible bathroom	The bathroom is appropriately adapted with grab rails, frameless shower and folding shower seat. Fully adapted general disabled toilet is also located behind the café. Another adapted toilet with adapted lockers is found in the swimming pool facility.
Accessible café or restaurant	The hotel restaurant is fully accessible with the use of the elevator. The restaurant provides self-service, and the dining room is very spacious. Guests can also dine on the “terrace” (the part of the hotel topped by a glass dome). There is also a fully accessible café on the hotel’s ground floor.
Accessible entrance to the water from the beach or pool	The swimming pool area is accessible for people with disabilities, but there is no aiding equipment for easier entry into the water.
